MMIC is a privately funded, non-profit organization working to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses in mid-Michigan.  MMIC operates a 112,000 square foot business incubator with significant support from The Dow Chemical Company.  Our organization operates a minimal staff and leverages resources from around the region to create valuable collaborative partnerships for the benefit of our tenants, virtual tenants, and aspiring entrepreneurs. 

MMIC supports entrepreneurs and start-up companies in the industrial sectors, and does not target specific technologies. We are also a satellite of the Mt. Pleasant SmartZone™ and have relationships with other incubators around Michigan and the U.S. that focus on specific technologies.  These contacts provide clients with contacts and valuable connections and expertise in a multitude of technology areas including nano-technologies, advanced materials, alternate energy, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Responsiveness to our customers is MMIC’s top priority — so flexibility is embedded throughout our organization.
