GANTEC is a natural products technology company. We develop new, large volume supplies of agriculturally-important natural products, and work with end-users and development partners to create sustainable, state-of-the-art products through high-quality supply and process development, formulation and testing. GANTEC began with the recognition that an under-utilized resource in West Africa might provide a safe, multi-faceted way to enhance the ecology and productivity in both North America and Africa. Specifically, we identified the widespread, under-utilized fruit tree, called "neem" (Azadiracta indica) as a potential resource for achieving these objectives. Neem is a fruit-bearing tree from the Mahogany family and is common in many parts of Asia and Africa. Leaves, fruit and seeds from the tree have been used for centuries in India and other parts of Asia to treat disease, wounds, crops and animals in a variety of ways. The most notable attributes of neem, however, relate to its propensity to repel, modulate or otherwise reduce the populations of various insect pests.

GANTEC is committed to being a high-quality partner in developing breakthrough agricultural and registered pest control products. As such, we are in the process of developing a series of strategic partnerships with like-minded counterparts in key industry categories. At present, GANTEC is developing the infrastructure required to be the premier supplier and co-developer of high quality neem-based products in the US and the world.
