CAPITAL WITH CONNECTIONS

The BlueWater Angels is a network of more than 30 high-net worth individuals and select organizations interested in investing capital in promising companies with the expectation of receiving a substantial return on their investment. While ROI is absolutely the primary goal for BlueWater Angels (BWA), the group also recognizes the value of supporting the entrepreneurial community for the economic benefit of the entire mid Michigan region and the state.

Promising companies that meet the following criteria are more likely to be of interest to BlueWater Angels.
Applicant company:

• Is headquartered within a two hour drive of mid-Michigan
• Is in a technology sector
• Is seeking investment of $1 million or less from BWA
• Can match at least 50% of requested funding (from principals or other previous/current investors)
  Example: company has invested $500,000 into a company to date and is seeking $1 million from BWA
• Is seeking to close it's first round of investment with a professional group
• Has a deal in progress with another professional investment group(s)
• Has a personal referral from a member of BlueWater Angels or another angel group

Only companies that meet four or more of the criteria listed above, should spend the time to apply for funding through BWA.
