Our Vision
The Great Lakes Process Technology
Alliance is the regional hub for partnerships between
industry, education, and community leaders dedicated
to the development of a respected, qualified, and successful
Process Technology workforce.
The Great Lakes Process Technology
Alliance (GLPTA) is a regional alliance made up of industry
representatives and educators who are responsible for
developing, improving and maintaining the standardized
Process Technology (PTEC™) curriculum at colleges
in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and
Ontario. PTECTM is the standardized curriculum for a
two-year Associate of Applied Science degree that prepares
students to work as process operators in process technology
industries. These areas include:
