Universities/Colleges MMIC has formal relationships with area universities to cooperate in developing entrepreneurial education, training and mentoring programs, conducting sponsored research and technology transfer, and connecting businesses with students and faculty members.
The MMIC is also working with a group of local university students who are earning an entrepreneurial degree. We are providing them with a 600 square foot office area with desks, IT, and telephone service. The students have named the office area “The Hatchery.” Members of the hatchery meet with other university students who have started businesses in their dorms and apartments, and assist them with business plans, strategic plans and marketing plans.
